Summary: Responsible for a variety of communication efforts of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana. This includes creation of content and layout/design for The Catholic Moment, our diocesan newspaper. The Communications Manager will also be responsible for management of social media accounts, website updates, branding and overall diocesan messaging.
Essential Duties:
Collaborates with the communications team on story selection and project management for The Catholic Moment.
Coordinates and contributes to the content calendar of The Catholic Moment, social media calendar and other diocesan communications content on a monthly basis to ensure high quality and consistent materials.
Assists with laying out and designing newspaper pages including—the placement and writing of headlines, stories, photos, captions and advertisements for The Catholic Moment. Prepares vibrant, visual layouts for written content.
Develops graphics for use on social media platforms and diocesan websites.
Strategize the development, implementation and management of diocesan social media campaigns.
Assists in updating the content of the diocesan website.

The Muncie Catholic Pastorate, including St. Francis of Assisi, St. Lawrence, and St. Mary Catholic churches, and St. Michael Catholic School, is seeking a detail-oriented, mission-driven Finance Manager to join our team. This role supports the life of our pastorate by overseeing the accounting team, financial reporting, budgeting, and our daily financial operations.

Saint Bernard Church is seeking a Music and Liturgy Accompanist to assist in managing and coordinating various aspects of music, assist oversight of music program, and to grow the choirs. This person will assist the directing of music for masses, weddings and funerals as well as the high Holy Days. Saint Bernard has two weekend masses in English (Sat at 5:30 pm and Sun at 9:30 AM) and the weekend responsibilities would primarily entail overseeing those masses.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent, plus related experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Knowledge and experience in Catholic liturgical music preferred.
Proficiency in voice, keyboard, guitar, or choral performance and some knowledge of these instruments.
Possess respect and ability to uphold Catholic Church teaching.
Able to honor & maintain confidentiality.
Able to pass and maintain diocesan child safety protocol.
